Or like 5 times and nothing happens :(

i do not wanna vent here but this move to new stile is a disaster for me, need to log in every single time clicking new content gives me nothing (yes i did click several times), board is slower, the new menu is not really intuitive, lost all my feedback ranking, works ridiculously slow on iPhone (yes i tried the low bandwith skin on iphone but that one has no view new posts option)...

Oka im done... and yes before someone says it i know that the new SW upgrade might be needed for more then change the look onf the board and there is many tech upgrades under the hood... still as a end user i got nothing better i got dare i say much worse.

The "View new content"-link is working as it it supposed to for most members. Just make sure you are using http://www.rwgforum.com and NOT http://www.rwg.cc when you are browsing the forum.

Also, applying the settings mentioned here might also be useful; http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/102067-howto-control-the-behaviour-of-the-view-new-content-link/

Edit to add: The "View new content" link has now been renamed to "view new posts"

I would have to disagree on this one Admin..It is still flakey at the moment.

I am on both Firefox, Safari and Ie and they all have the same issue.

Just tested this on FF3.5, IE7, IE8 and Opera 9.64/Opera 10.00b2 and it works without any problems on all the mentioned browsers for me.

Try this;

1. Click here: http://www.rwgforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=login&&do=deleteCookies'>http://www.rwgforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=login&&do=deleteCookies

2. Sign out -> http://www.rwgforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=login&do=logout'>http://www.rwgforum.com/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=login&do=logout

3. Go to http://www.rwgforum.com and sign in again. Check the "remember me"-box if you want the forum to remember you to you next visit.

This fixed all my problems. Apparently I still had the old rwg.cc link in my Favorites folder.

There's nothing that I miss from the old site except for one thing... the ability to post 1024 x 768 sized pictures without the forum software automatically resizing them. The width limit is way too small now... it's somewhere in the 930 pixels range.

Eyecandy & photos are important (no... essential) for a watch forum, and we should have the ability to use the standard (smallest) wallpaper size with a desktop 1280 x (which is very popular desktop resolution for these modern flat monitors). That could probably be arranged by reducing the avatar area width?

And this is what I get

My desktop resolution is 1280 x 800. Sure there are lots of people who use much bigger resolutions but this (according to a popular gaming site) was the most popular desktop resolution among the members.

I'll hazard a guess that the wide avatar area forces the forum software to resize the pic.
